renuka lake

renuka lake is in the sirmour district of himachal pradesh in india and it is 672m above the sea level. it is the largest lake in himachal, with a circumference of about 3214m. this lake was named after the godess  renuka. it is well connected by the road. boating is available on the lake. a loin safari and a zoo are there at renuka. it is the site of an annual fair held in november.      {reference:- himachal tourism}           

beauty of shillai {churdhar}

churdhar sanctuary is named after the churdhar peak, which has an elevation of 3647mtrs above sea level nd is located in sirmour, shimla district of indian state himachal. churdhar peak is the highest peak in sirmour district nd is also the highest peak in the outer himalayas. the churdhar peak has its very religious significances for the devotees of eastern himachal pradesh, which includes the district sirmour, shimla nd solan and dehradoon of uttrakhand.

shillai is a small town in northen india,himachal pradesh[state]. it comes under district sirmour. shillai is locatedon a south east-facing hill at an elevation of 1900mtrs. the hill is called dhar shillai and is 2100mtrs high. the local langauge is pahari.
